What is the IMLC?

The Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is a pathway to expedite licensing for physicians seeking to practice medicine in multiple IMLC states. For more information about the IMLC, please visit the IMLC website at www.imlcc.com.

Do I qualify?

What are the fees?

All IMLC, initial, renewal, reinstatement and Letter of Qualification (LOQ) fees are the responsibility of the applicant. All fees should be paid through the IMLC and not to the Board.

Pursuant to the IMLC, fees paid for licensure through the IMLC are NON-REFUNDABLE.

For Maryland Licensees

If you seek licensure from another state through the IMLC process, you will be required to complete a new CHRC (even if you've submitted a CHRC within the past). For more information, please review the CHRC Instructions.
